"85 Landmark Supreme Court Judgments" is a book that compiles 85 key Supreme Court decisions in India, shaping the legal landscape and influencing public policy.

In this book, the system of law established by the Supreme Court has been presented through 85 historical decisions of the Supreme Court. For the understanding of the general public, first the facts have been taken, then the main part of the decision and finally I have given my opinion. For the Civil Services competitive examination, the opinion of the candidate is very important. An effort has been made to bring to light the system of the Supreme Court from the fundamental right to equality to land reforms and economic matters in the present times.

In the appendixes, a list of decisions on most important subjects and a list of changes made by the Supreme Court in its own decisions have also been given. In between, the main provisions of the Constitution have also been highlighted so that one does not have to open the Constitution book to understand the decisions related to those provisions of the Constitution.

Dr. P. K. Agrawal is a gold medalist in Law and D. Phil. from Allahabad University, LL.M. from Calcutta University and M.B.A. from IGNOU, New Delhi.
Dr. Agrawal belongs to I.A.S., 1976 batch of West Bengal Cadre and retired as Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of West Bengal after serving for ten
years in the Central Government and for twenty-four years in West Bengal Government. Earlier, Dr. Agrawal served in the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), U.P. Civil Service (Sales Tax Officer) and as lecturer in Law.
Dr. Agrawal has about sixty-five books to his credit, including twenty books in English. He is a prominent writer of fiction in Hindi and has many awards to his credit.
After retirement, Dr. Agrawal has been working as partner for more than nine years in law firms at New Delhi.
