He was shifted to the Services Selection Boards in 1974 and since then has worked at the selec-tion boards of the Any, Air Force and Navy at Allahabad, Dehradun and Bhopal respectively till be retired in 2001. Daring the same period, he also worked as Joint Director at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research. Delhi from 1997 to 1999.
He has to his credit three books in the field of psychology. This is his fourth book.

He started his professional career as a lecturer and has taught graduate and postgraduate classes Gorakhpur, Agra and Meerut. He joined the Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) in 1968 and was first posted as Psychologist at the Armed Forces Medical College. Pune. He was selected on Russian Govt.scholarship for higher studies in Moscow University in 1971.
