Ashok Kumar did his B. Tech and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He Joined Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1989. Presently, he is posted as DG Crime, Law and Order Uttarakhand. He has also been Director Vigilance, Uttarakhand.
