The author Manju ‘Mann’ was introduced to the power of words and the nuances of philosophy by her father, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Born in Delhi, Manju, a poetess of repute, has presented a number of programmes in All India Radio. She was honoured by the Government of India for contemporary poetry. Recipient of dozens of awards for speeches, articles and other activities, she has published anthologies ‘Man Tarang’ and ‘Ek Baat Aur’. She is a gazetted officer and is posted in New Delhi.
मंजु ‘मन’ के लिए बचपन से शब्दों के आग्रह को टालना भारी था, इसलिए भी कि शब्द समय के दबाव के बीच अपना अस्तित्व तलाशते लगते, शब्द ही हैं जो भावों के अस्तित्व को प्रमाणित करते हैं। मंजु मन ने बचपन में ही अपने डॉक्टर पिता राजेंद्र प्रसाद से भाषा और दर्शन की दीक्षा ली। दिल्ली में जनमी मंजु आकाशवाणी के अनेक कार्यक्रमों में कवि के रूप में शामिल हो चुकी हैं। तात्कालिक कविता में भारत सरकार द्वारा अनेक सम्मानों से सम्मानित। वैसे अब तक भाषण, निबंध और अन्य गतिविधियों में दर्जनों पुरस्कार।
