Meena Shanker is a practicing cookery expert. She runs an institution of cooking and fine art i.e. music, dance, fabric painting, flower decoration etc. She has conducted several cookery demonstrations on health, low-calorie foods and microwave cooking. She has also served as cookery expert on microwave ovens to reputed companies. Her novelty in microwave cooking of recipes has been appreciated by prestigious publishing house in UK and India. Extensive travelling and interacting with different people and cultures has enhanced her cooking skills and ideas. She is superb and spontaneous in experimenting the food and strikes and wonderful balance in creating, beauty and taste to suit all palates. Providence has gifted her with an uncommon instinct and love for cooking which she delights in sharing. She firmly believes that the kitchen is a sacred place and cooking a sublime and elevating experience. She is married and blessed with two children. She is now settled in Kochi (Kerala).
