Advocate Monika Arora is a well known name in the legal fraternity. She currently represents Government of India as its standing counsel in Delhi High Court and Standing Counsel of JNU in High Court and Supreme Court. She represents Army, Navy, Air force, BSF, CRPF, CISF and other paramilitary forces. She represents various ministries including home ministry, finance ministry, external affairs ministry, human resource and development ministry, sports ministry and other ministries. Adv. Arora has shown her astute and sagacious skills at various occasions. Some of them being, the re-establishment of cow welfare board in Delhi, renaming of Bhagat Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai as 'freedom fighters' instead of terrorists in ICSE course books and so on. Monika is also a woman rights enthusiast. She is a powerful orator and has participated in various seminars/ awareness campaigns on Uniform Civil Code and ending discrimination against women.
