A civil servant by profession, working as Deputy Director in Ministry of Defence, Pankaj Dixit has a throughout first class academic career. He is an ardent and motivated scholar with specialized interests in Vedic rituals and Temple architecture. He has been honoured by Albert Museum, London for a study on South Indian Temple Architecture. An alumnus of Lai Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, New Delhi, he has learnt Vedas traditionally in Guru-shishya parampara. His articles on Hinduism, Vedas and Temple Architecture keep appearing in National dailies. He has several books on Hinduism related topics to his credit.
रक्षा मंत्रालय में उपनिदेशक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। आप अपने शैक्षणिक कैरियर में प्रथम श्रेणी पाते रहे। वैदिक कर्मकांड तथा मंदिर स्थापत्य कला में आपकी विशेष रुचि है। आपको दक्षिण भारतीय मंदिर स्थापत्य कला में अध्ययन के लिए अल्बर्ट संग्रहालय, लंदन द्वारा सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। आप लालबहादुर शास्त्री संस्कृत विद्यापीठ, नई दिल्ली के छात्र रह चुके हैं। आपने गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा में वेदों का अध्ययन किया है। विभिन्न पत्र-पत्रिकाओं में हिंदुत्व, वेद तथा मंदिर स्थापत्य कला पर आपके लेख छपते रहते हैं। हिंदुत्व से संबंधित विषयों पर आपकी अनेक पुस्तकें प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं।
