Dr. R.K. Kapoor is a renowned scholar and one of the most eminent and successful homoeopaths of the country who hardly needs introduction. His latest book on ‘Control AIDS Thru Homoeopathy’ has already aroused a high expectancy in homoeopathic circles because of his public lectures at national and international forums where he had revealed some of the sensational discoveries made by him for eradicating the deadly disease. He has a string of achievements to his credit in academic fields related to Homoeopathy and they have won him accolades from the highest dignitaries of the land. डॉ. कपूर को मुंबई के बॉम्बे हॉस्पिटल मेडिकल रिसर्च सेंटर और तापडि़या इंस्टिच्यूट ऑफ ऑफ्थैल्मोलॉजी में बतौर कन्सल्टेंट ऑफ्थैल्मिक सर्जन काम करने का साढ़े चार दशक से ज्यादा का अनुभव है। वे बॉम्बे इंस्टिच्यूट फॉर मेडिकल साइंसेज में नेत्र विज्ञान विषय के सहायक प्रोफेसर भी हैं। टोपीवाला नेशनल मेडिकल कॉलेज से एम.बी.बी.एस. करने के पश्चात् उन्होंने मुंबई के ही ग्रांट मेडिकल कॉलेज से नेत्र विज्ञान में एम.एस. की उपाधि प्राप्त की। वे भारत व विदेशों में अनेक प्रतिष्ठित अस्पतालों और चिकित्सा संस्थानों में विभिन्न पदों पर रहकर सेवा कर चुके हैं।
सामुदायिक नेत्र परियोजनाओं में सहभागिता करने के अलावा डॉ. कपूर विभिन्न राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलनों में नेत्र विज्ञान और इंट्राऑक्युलर लेंस इंप्लांट पर अनेक आलेख भी प्रस्तुत कर चुके हैं।
