Sweta Parmar belongs to the ‘pink city’ of Jaipur. After completing her education, she landed in Delhi to become a skilled home-maker. Her talent of carving down her spontaneous thoughts inspired her to pen down her feelings in the book. Her extemporaneous mentation will certainly hypnotize the readers. स्वेता परमार ‘निक्की’ का जन्म अप्रैल 1976 में राजस्थान के ‘गुलाबी शहर’ जयपुर में हुआ। स्कूली शिक्षा यहीं से हुई। राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय से इंग्लिश ऑनर्स किया, तदुपरांत हरियाणा के रोहतक स्थित महर्षि दयानंद विश्वविद्यालय से बी.एड. पूरी की। विवाह के बाद पहले दिल्ली में और अब उत्तर प्रदेश में अपने परिवार के साथ रहती हैं।
पेशे से बिजनेस वुमेन होने के बावजूद मन लेखनी में रमा रहा। अपनी पहली ही किताब ‘द जेस्टफुल हाइव’ (अंग्रेजी) में जिंदगी के तमाम एहसासों-भावनाओं को बड़ी सहजता से पेश करके चर्चा में आईं और उसे पाठकों ने खूब पसंद किया। मन से निकले विचारों को सहज रूप से कागज पर उकेरने की उनकी खूबी पाठकों को अपनी ओर खींचती है।
