Born and raised in Ambala (Haryana), a post graduate from Punjab University (Chandigarh), moved to Bombay after marriage, moved from Bombay to Dubai in 1980, living there for the last 40 years. Worked with Khaleej Times (Dubai) for more than 2 decades in the Advertising & Marketing department. Left Khaleej Times in 2005 while working as Area Manager for Weekend Magazine. After leaving job, completely devoted herself to spirituality, which allowed her to explore the Gita, the Vedas, the Upanishads and several scriptures & books. This reading planted the seed for writing ‘Knowing ‘Self’ through Karmayoga’.
Completely stay-at-home person, the author enjoys vairagya i.e. solitude, but at the same time follows a balanced life by being in the company of friends and relatives. Not tech-savvy at all; not on Social Media. Has passion and fervour for reading, music, fashion designing, interior designing, culinary interest and fitness.
