Dr. Manish Rannjan from IAS 2002 batch current works at the Government of Jharkhand. He was the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Collector in various districts of Jharkhand. He attended school at the Netarhat Vidyalaya, Netarhat and graduated from Patna College, Patna and Hindu College, University of Delhi.
He has an MBA from IRMA, Gujarat and a Ph.D. in Management Studies. He also studied at Oxford University, England; Johns Hopkins University, USA; Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany; International Training Center, Turin, Italy and Korea Development Institute, South Korea.
He received the ‘Directors Gold Medal’ for securing first position in IAS merit. He received the Prime Minister ‘MNREGA Excellence Award’ for two consecutive years, and ‘Nirmal Gram Puraskar’ from the President, He has also been awarded with ‘Asian Federation of Intellectual Disabilities’, ‘Star Raft Award’ from Japan and SPANDAN award by Government of India for exemplary work for the person with special abilities.
