Vigyan Ratna Lakshman Prasad (86), is a distinguished innovator, nationally decorated for his path breaking innovations. His work has been commended by renowned scientists and national leaders. He has also authored 15 books, 13 on inventions/innovations and 2 on social work besides, a dedicated social worker and social activist.
In recognition of his innovative work in key areas of national importance, Prasad has been honoured with 10 innovation awards including 7 National and 3 State Awards including ‘Vigyan Ratna Samman’. For his distinguished writings relating to innovations have also brought him 2 National Awards including ‘Dr. Meghnad Saha Samman’. He has also given impetus to innovation movement in India.
