If we divide the population of India into two parts - one resides in those distant areas where there is no road, no government, no society and neither they have clean water to drink. Those who are in the close vicinity of nature, they are richer in culture and values.

Those who are away from nature, they are wrought with moral decline. What an irony is this? Where there is education and prosperity, there is no culture; and where there resides moral values, there is poverty and illiteracy. So, the solution lies in the fact that we must unite both these worlds with the bridge of intimacy. In this way, economic poverty will be ameliorated on one end, while cultural poverty will end on the other end. The Ekal Abhiyan is dedicated to exactly this purpose. Siddhartha Shankar Gautam - Born on 2 February 1986 in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. He chose writing and journalism to contribute intellectually to the cause of cultural nationalism. He has 10 years, experience in writing and journalism. He has worked in Dainik Bhaskar, Swadesh, Pradesh Today and Nai Duniya (Dainik Jagran Group).
